Weekly Update 20240723 — Translation Feature Major Upgrade & New Interface Enhancements


  • Hello ActiveBuds Community,

    We are excited to announce a major update to our AI translation feature! This update delivers enhanced menu interface and simplified operation for voice translation.

    1. How to Update:

    1. Ensure your ActiveBuds are connected to the Internet.
    2. Connect the charging cable. The update will be pushed within approximately 20 seconds.

     

    2. Update Highlights:

    1. Translation Icon Update: We've redesigned the translation icon ;)

    2. Enhanced Multi-Functional Menu Interface:

      • Added quick access options for Translation and Voice to Text pages.
      • How to Use:
        • Swipe up on the home screen.
        • Tap "AI Translation" or "AI Voice-Text" (Coming This Week).
    3. Simplified Translation Software Operation:

      • Intuitively swipe left or right to switch between different modes.
      • Tap on the interface to directly set the translation languages.

     

    3. AI Translation Modes:

    1. Dual Earbud Mode: Each person wears one earbud. Hold to record and release to translate through the earbuds.
    2. Case + Bud Mode: A person holds the earbud to record and the case will play the translation; the other holds the case to record and the earbud will play the translation.
    3. Real-Time Mode: The case records and the translation text appears on the screen. Later this week, text and voice playback will be synchronized.

     

    4. APP Recording Saving:

    All saved files can be found on your mobile APP.

     

    5. AI Voice-to-Text: 

    Coming next week. 

     

    Note: When using modes involving earbuds, check the small dot in the upper left corner of the Translation interface. A green dot indicates a successful earbud connection, while a red dot means the earbuds are not paired with the case. If red, ensure the case's Bluetooth is on, place the earbuds back in the case, and close the lid to re-pair.

    You can easily view and export all records by using the iKKO mobile app.

    Simply download the iKKO App from the App Store or Google Play,  follow the App instructions to pair your device. Within the app, you can view all your records and export them to your desired location.

    There is no limit on the length of recording for text recognition. As long as there is power, it can continuously record. However, the memory is 32GB, so make sure to export the recordings regularly to ensure there's enough space for continuous recognition!

     


  • @iKKO Within the Ikko app on moblie phone (android and IOS), I can only copy and export text version of memos to other location, rather than the sound recordings. I found no way of exporting the recordings regularly to ensure there's enough space for continuous recording. How may I solve it? Thank you.

    Our AI voice-to-text feature allows easy review and export of transcribed text after each session.

    At present, only text content can be exported, but we’re actively working on an audio export feature. We understand how valuable this addition would be, so please stay tuned for updates as we enhance the app’s functionality to better meet your needs.
