Ensure your ActiveBuds are equipped with the Latest System for optimal performance.
Connecting the Earbuds to the Charging Case
- Place Earbuds: Ensure the earbuds are placed in the ActiveBuds case.
- Activate Screen: Press the home button to activate the screen, then slide up to access the paring pop-up page.
- Initiate Pairing: Long-press the purple area and wait for the pairing indicator.
- Confirm Pairing: A blue circle indicates a successful connection.
- Access Settings: Tap the top 'Bluetooth Connection' button and navigate to 'Connected Devices'.
- Complete Connection: Choose 'Bluetooth' and pair with 'iKKO ActiveBuds'.
- Troubleshooting: If pairing is unsuccessful (the indicator stays gray), please repeat the steps above.
Connecting Earbuds to Your Phone
- Place Earbuds: Make sure the earbuds are securely seated in the ActiveBuds case.
- Activate Screen: Press the home button to turn on the case’s screen, then slide up to access the paring pop-up page.
- Initiate Pairing: Long-press the purple area until the circular pairing indicator begins to rotate (approximately 15 seconds), indicating the earbuds are ready to pair.
- Pair with Phone: On your phone, go to the 'Bluetooth' settings, search for 'iKKO ActiveBuds', and select to connect.
Pairing the Case with Other Bluetooth Speakers
- Enable Bluetooth: Go to 'Settings' in your ActiveBuds, select 'Connected Devices', and then turn on 'Bluetooth'.
- Activate Bluetooth on Other Device: Make sure the other Bluetooth device you wish to connect is set to 'Discoverable' mode.
- Establish Connection: From the ActiveBuds 'Bluetooth', select the discoverable device to pair with it.
System Update for ActiveBuds
- Enter Quick Menu: Swipe down to the bottom.
- Cloud Icon: Click to check if there's option to 'Update the System'.
- Reboot Post-Update: The device will restart automatically after upgrade.
- *Important Notice: Current upgrade is a fresh start, so it will reset all user data to ensure peak performance with the new enhancements. Thanks for your understanding.
App Upgrade Procedure
- Access IKKO Store
- Select App: Choose the app to be updated.
- Install Update: Tap the update button, wait for completion, and clear old files.
Sharing Your Phone Internet Access via Bluetooth
For iPhone Users:
- Activate Hotspot: On your iPhone, enable 'Personal Hotspot'.
- Access ActiveBuds Case: On the ActiveBuds Case, navigate to 'Connected Devices'.
- Enable Bluetooth: Turn on Bluetooth functionality.
- Pair with iPhone: Connect the ActiveBuds Case to your iPhone via Bluetooth pairing.
- Adjust Settings: Tap the settings icon beside the iPhone's name on the ActiveBuds Case.
- Internet Access: Toggle on "Use for Internet access".
- Complete: Your iPhone's internet connection is now shared with the ActiveBuds Case.
For Android Users:
- Enable Tethering: Turn on 'Bluetooth tethering' on your Android phone.
- Access ActiveBuds Case: On the ActiveBuds Case, navigate to 'Connected Devices'.
- Enable Bluetooth: Activate Bluetooth functionality.
- Pair with Android Phone: Connect the ActiveBuds Case to your Android phone via Bluetooth pairing.
- Adjust Settings: Tap the settings icon next to the Android phone's name on the ActiveBuds Case.
- Internet Access: Switch on "Use for Internet access".
- Complete: Your Android phone's internet connection is now shared with the ActiveBuds Case.
